A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed , on November 08 2024, between African Green Aspirers Forward Initiative "AGAFI” and Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute "EBI", a government research institution in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia based on a shared commitment of both parties to advance biodiversity conservation, sustainable utilization of natural resources, and community engagement in Ethiopia. The MoU signed in recognition of the importance of collaborating to address critical environmental challenges and align with the objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD and EBI's mandate under Regulation No. 291/2013 to promote the conservation, sustainable use, and fair benefit-sharing of Ethiopia's biodiversity.
